Every Sinclair ZX Spectrum receives meticulous attention during our in-house refurbishment process. While many machines on eBay may be labelled as “restored” after just a capacitor swap and a simple cleaning, this Spectrum truly deserves so much more than that. We’re dedicated to giving it the care and excellence it needs to shine!
We specialise in restoring Sinclair ZX Spectrum Computers and making enhancements to modernize them, ensuring they remain functional for many more years. Our services include replacing outdated electrolytic capacitors, upgrading audio and video to enable compatibility with modern flat-panel TVs, and swapping out old voltage regulators to improve cooling and stability. We also address any identified issues.
Additionally, we clean the edge connector for compatibility with The DIVMMC Future “plug and play” SD card device, allowing you to load games instantly! We install a new keyboard membrane and meticulously clean and polish the ZX Spectrum casing using Renaissance micro-crystalline wax, followed by fitting new rubber feet. Every fully refurbished unit undergoes thorough testing, including soak tests, and comes with a one-year guarantee (terms apply).
